NPDES Phase II General Permit Information

A Storm Water Management Program (SWMP) to comply with the General Permit for the Discharge of Storm Water from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (Small MS4 Permit) was submitted by Marin County Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program (MCSTOPPP). The SWMP describes the program to be implemented in Marin County.

The SWMP has been reviewed by Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) staff and meets the Maximum Extent Practicable (MEP) standard. The permit coverage under the Small MS4 Permit for the MCSTOPPP program commenced on March 30, 2004.
